Amaris Strapless Midi Dress - Cherry Print

A cherry print is not a subtle thing to put on a strapless dress, and the Amaris is better for refusing to be subtle about it. The design is strapless with a straight neckline across the top. Inside the bust sits a rubber grip and at the back an elasticised strap, which between them are the reason a strapless dress at this length stays where it was put. A cut out sits at the back, and an invisible side zip closes with a hook and eye clasp. The satin has a soft feel to it; the bust is lined and the body below is left unlined. Bare shoulders and a print this bold mean everything else should retreat — a plain sandal, small earrings, hair up to show the back cut out. Midi length keeps it wearable in daylight, so it works for a summer lunch as readily as for the evening that follows it.
