Ianthe Plisse Mini Dress - Burgundy

Buttons at the cuff, buttons at the back of the neck, a tie at the waist that lifts out — the Ianthe is a short dress built out of small adjustments. It is made in plisse, which is a material with fine pleating worked through it, so the surface has texture even when the dress is still. The neckline is round and the long sleeves close at the wrist with button cuffs. At the back, a neck opening fastens with its own button. Belt loops carry a detachable waist tie. The dress is lined. Worn with the tie, it has a defined waist; without it, the plisse falls straight and the dress reads much softer. Both are correct and it takes ten seconds to change your mind.
